Cornwall Food & Drink Festival
23 - 25 September 2011
Lemon Quay, Truro
Th eighth Cornwall Food and Drink Festival proved once again why this county has one of the finest reputations for food and drink in the whole of the UK.
From the first mouthful of canape at the Evening with the Magnificent Seven, to the closing moments with two-Michelin-starred Nathan Outlaw on stage, this year's Cornwall Food & Drink Festival proved that there really is something to celebrate here at the far south-westerly end of the UK and, over three busy fesitval days, Cornwall's fine chefs and food and drink producers showed the world why their reputation is so great.
With more than 60 exhibitors, a packed timetable of chef demos and masterclasses, creative fun for kids in the Funky Food Zone, and our new evening event, Champions' Night, there was something to tempt everyone’s tastebuds and keep the 43,000 people who dropped by happy.
A big thank you to all those who came, saw, tasted, bought, sold, cooked, displayed, talked, helped or sponsored. Every year you all help to make this festival one of the top features in the UK's food calendar.
