Cornwall Food and Drink Festival 2011

Chefs' Theatre

Chefs’ Theatre

We’ve got a packed and varied programme all three days in our professional demonstration theatre, the centrepiece of which is a stunning new kitchen hand-made by Bude designers, Simply Wood.

With some of the most amazing restaurant locations and freshest, finest produce in the world, it’s no wonder so many talented chefs find their way to Cornwall. Cooking in a kitchen a few paces from the beach, choosing fish from Cornish day-boats as they come in and taking delivery of the sweetest salads and veg daily from a neighbouring farm - that’s a reality in Cornwall.

Come and be seduced by the talent  as chefs from all over Cornwall show how they turn the best Cornish ingredients into the tastiest dishes.  We’re proud that Nathan Outlaw is headlining again; come and see him show why he’s won two Michelin stars and become one of the top chefs in the UK.

Don't miss the fun challenges too, with some live head-to-head excitement.  BBC Radio Cornwall will be hosting the demos throughout the festival.

If this isn't enough for you, don't forget to drop by the Cornwall Food & Drink Stage in The Croust Bar, where you can pick up hints and tips, learn new skills and hear some amazing stories, while refuelling with a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.

Scroll through the list below to help you plan your festival visit.
