Cornwall College student’s Diamond Dish on sale nationwide!
Congratulations to Bramley Diamond Dishes national competition winner Grace Mathews, a cookery student at Cornwall College, who finally saw the fruits of her labour this week, as she took delivery of her winning Bramley Apple Crumble Tart after her dish went into mass production to be sold in Sainsbury’s stores in time for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee next month.

Penventon Park announces first Cornwall Asparagus Festival
The Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth has announced that it will host a free one-day asparagus festival on Sunday 27th May to celebrate asparagus, a fantastic seasonal ingredient! With a mixture of asparagus recipes, tasters, food stalls, cookery demonstrations and an opportunity to meet Cornwall’s largest asparagus growers, John and Jenny Keeler from Tregassow Farm, the festival will proudly celebrate all that is great about Cornish asparagus.
